Hello Mitchco, Thanks fot this review. A question about DSP : it's easy now tu use softwares like Dirac or to build convolution filters to match your room. What is, according to you, the best way for the D&D 8C : use the internal DSP or a soft like Roon with a convolution filter ? Thanks, Arnaud from France.

Thank you Flak. I'm running a Mac. But I think I found : I used DLCT v1.2 which does not seem to be operational. I went back to v1.1 and it works, even if the DAP is in 1.2 Could you remind me the path for filters on a Mac ? Regards, Dem.

Hello Flak, I performed new measures in my room this morning with 1.2 version. Everything went fine and I created the filters. But it's impossible to load them in the DAP or in Audirvana (with AU plugin) : it crashes immediately and program closes. If I try to load "old" filters (before this new session) everything is fine. Hi all, I use Dirac and AU plugin with Audirvana and an upgraded Mac Mini. I would like to check the compatibility between Dirac and other players, according to your own experience, either with Dirac DAP and/or AU/VST plugins, such as : -Roon -Pure Music -Jriver -others ? If some of you experienced differences about sound quality between those players coupled with Dirac that would be interesting. According to me, I find Audirvana + AU Plugin undoubtlessly better than DAP playback. Regards, A.
