  1. Sorry I actually meant the Genelec F Two, not the F One.
  2. Hi guys, I'm building a pretty Hi End Home Theater Room with 5.1 Audio system using YBA Glass cables and Elac FS77 for front and rear speakers, with a C% central. I'm going to use a pretty hi-end Audio Amplifier. For the subwoofer do you think it's better an Elac S10EQ or a Genelec F One? Br, Federico
  3. Thanks for the advice! I will try them both as soon as I can. Br. Federico
  4. Thank you. I have searched for a while about the Audio Station and I will probably stick with it. It seams very complete and pretty easy to use. Overwise if I can't get used to it I will switch to Plex (also because you can limit bandwidth usage). Thank you, Federico
  5. Hi, first of all thanks for the answer. I knew it existed but I didn't know if it was a good choice. Have you tried it out? Are there other alternatives? Thanks in advance. Br Federico
  6. Hi guys, I have a big music collection all in AIFF and in FLAC (no MP3 or compressed audio formats). I store all the collection on a Synology RS814, that has inside DSM 6 without audio station software or anything else. It only shares the library folder to with my Mac Mini with Audirvana 2.0 Plus, that is connected to my Naim V1 DAC. In this way I can control with the A+ remote app on my phone and tablet the music I want to play on my hifi. I would love to listen to my music also outside my home so I was thinking to install an app similar to Plex Media Server, so that I can access both with an app and with the Web Interface (from computers). What alternatives do I have? Maybe something specialised for music and not for videos or else. Br. Federico
  7. Thank you really much for your answer. I have downloaded the software yesterday night and I am going to try it in this days! Inviato dal mio iPhone 5S Gold 32GB utilizzando Tapatalk

  9. Hi and thank you both for the answers. I have decided I'm not going to use lossless compression formats because space is not a problem. Thank you also for the music organizer software. When I was saying outside home I was thinking to use an iPhone. Do you think that using: one hard drive for storing all the music in not compressed audio files, One hard drive in raid one same to the first one, another hard drive with all the files but compressed In lossless format for mobile phones outside of the network and one backup hard drive with the uncompressed files stored away from home, would be a good system? The hard drive with the lossless files would be used to optimize the bandwidth use without losing definition. I don't know much about DAC so I'm going to search something online Thank you all. 10. Hi, my father has got about 2500 CDs of only classical music that we want to copy on a nas, and I would love some suggestions. Most important for us is the quality, so I was wondering, which is the best format to copy 2500+ CDs without losing quality? Which is the best software (better for macs but it's ok also for windows) to copy all the CDs? I wanted to copy all the CDs on a nas, so we can use them with both our hi fi systems and also outside home. I already have a synology ds 215j, is it ok to use standard 7200 RPM WD hard drives with a raid one configuration? If not can you suggest some drives? How many GBs would be necessary for the entire library? I think that using iTunes for managing 2500+ CDs of high quality would be a terrible idea can you suggest me a software? Thanks to everybody! 11. Hi, what do you think about Yamaha all-weather speakers? It seams they are fantastic. Thank you, Federico EDIT: I leave in Europe, so it's easier to find Yamaha ones. Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
  12. Hi, thanks for replying, I would like to leave the speakers outside. Yes, I can actually put the amplifier inside house and leave the speakers outside. I would really love Marantz amplifier, I have a Marantz CD player and it is really perfect. I think I am going to go with the ElectroVoice+Marantz. If you have other advices please tell me. 13. Hi everybody, I'm searching for a pair of outdoor ethernet or wifi speakers. I would like to connect them via wifi to my network, but if this isn't possible, it's ok to use Ethernet cable. Would you have a suggestion? I'm going to listen to classic music and to podcasts at medium/low volume, and I would love to listen at a high quality music.
