  1. Sorry I mean "compile" !
  2. Hi Could someone help me to complete for OSX ? Regards
  3. For sure my 2010 mac does not provide usb power while in hibernation I have not tested while in "memory sleep" but if my issue is only matter of power supply I cannot understand why I have the same issue using an USB hub with dedicated power supply (may be because it was an usb3 hub.. ?) regards
  4. I my case the iDSD was no visible anymore.. I have to replug to let the OS to see it.. Do you think that using an external dedicated power supply like iPower will definitively fix my issue? Regards Saverio
  5. Thank you for the suggestions, in fact after El Capitan installation this issue is more frequent, may be that the OS stop USB power supply after a certain time.. In any case when the iDSD was not recognised there are no way to re-select it by software because the OS itself does not know that an USB doc is connected. This is particularly annoying in jriver because you have to re-select the output device manually in the jriver setup.. Now I modified the sleep policy using terminal and I forced hibernation instead of memory sleep, in this case the iDSD was recognised correctly (but this is not completely tested.. I will let you know..) Thank You again Regards Saverio
  6. Hi I also tried with an USB hub with own power supply but without success I think iDSD is going into a too deep sleep mode.. iFi should fix if with a software release Regards
  7. I think this is a very annoying issue!!! Here it is iFi answer: It seems that the iDSD micro jumps to battery mode and the 'handshake' is dropped after time due to the Mac being in sleep mode. The iDSD micro goes to sleep mode 15 minutes (3 minutes on battery) after playback of music has stopped (all digital inputs). It will wake up within 1 second of receiving a valid signal on any given input or of the Headphones being connected. Sleep mode powers down the DAC and analogue stages + headphone amp - Can you try inserting headphones or a signal to potentially re-wake the iDSD micro? Is seem that it can be a iDSD sleep problem.. it seem that iFi does not take in account that a big number of users keep iDSD always connected to a computer.. but I find strange.. I will try to plug an headphone..
  8. Hi I have an issue with my iDSD I keep it connected with a mid 2010 MacBook 13" (OSX El Capitan) and I use to put the Mac in sleep by closing the lid. Very often when i resume the Mac , opening the lid, the iDSD was not recognised anymore and the only way to let the mac recognise iDSD in to unplug and replug the USB cable.. This issue occur especially after long sleep (6/12 hours). I tried a lot of resume combinations but with no success (iFi support was not able to help me) Is someone having the same problem? also with other USB DAC? Any suggestions? Best regards Saverio
