Hi one and a half, thanks for your help, i have hdmi on my computer geforce 6600 card,to play video, sound is ok now on computer but when i connect it to input 1 on amplifier, i can play sound from input 1, but no video until i select hdmi on amp, then i have video but no sound. as far i can make out its either or but not both, unless i can find a video card with audio combined. thanks anyway.

hi GilesM, i changed hdmi lead to different slot no different, other things, blueray and virgin work ok through hdmi ?? i get sound ok through lead in input 1 but no video till i change back to hdmi input then video, and garbled sound.? we stayed in Memphis 10 days everytime, great experience, i havent bought high res yet, are they audio or video. Hi GilesM, thanks for reply , its ok with headphones as it was connected straight to tv, its happened since i put through amplifier. yes Elvis fan for 50 years, Been to gracelands 3 times 2002/05/07 Thanks for help.

Hi everyone, excuse me if i,m in wrong place, i have hp pavilion p6 2022 computer, running windows 7 service pack 1. my amplifier and speakers are Yamaha htr-2866, I have connected my blueray player, my virgin media box and my computer, by hdmi cables, the blueray player and virgin media box play audio ok, but my computer sound was garbled and distorted, so i added an audio cable from my creative soundblaster fx sound card, (in my computer ) to input 1 on amplifier but still garbled and distorted sound, i have been days trying to sort it. any help would be great. Thank You.
