It was already set to 12h. So it is not the issue. the Sonictransporter is loosing DHCP. I will try to get it fixed.

Hi. I use sonictransporter i7 connected to Signature Rendu SE optical. As network converter (ethernet to optical) I use Trend Net converter with LPS1. th sound heRe is just amazingly good. But it stops after some minutes playing ( can be 10 min or 20 min). is this the frame pause issue? will I have to wait for an update in SE software?

Thank you Jesus. It seems it is a problem of firmware. The recent one is supporting MQA but not DSD 512. I will have to go to older firmware

Jussi, I am trying to put an Ifi2 micro black dsd dac to work in dsd 512 using ultrarendu. it is just working on dsd 256. any tips? thank you

Would someone please tell me if there is any special comfiguration to make the Ifi micro DSD black DAC play DSD 512 using Ultrarendu and HQPLAYER? I am just getting DSD 256

Hi Rafa. Sorry for the delay in answering. The main differences in my opinion are that the Aqua is more precise, it has the most beautifull mids I’ve heard in my system, and is more transparent (dangerous word...). The Lampizator looks more "soft" but less interesting, real and correct (more or less like many typical single-ended). Of course IMHO.

I use the RCA inputs. And it sounds great. No regrets moving from Lampi to Aqua. My Aqua is on 24/7, my pre amplifier too. all SS gear should be left on 24/7 to have best performance.

A possible problem with the review is that the DAC was not completed burned in. My Aqua Formula took more than 500 h to play in high level. I was very upset before the burn in was completed, I thought I made a mistake buying the Formula. I couldn't be happier today. Before I had a Lampizator Big 7.

I own the I7 and the SR. And I am using the dual ethernet connection. I prefer it than using the switch. in fact I installed an ethernet outlet and connected the I7 to that outlet. That means I took out the switch of my listenning room. the in wall ethernet cable is a Belden Cat 6a. The connection from the SR to the Dac is Curious cable. the connection from the I7 to SR is Sablon ethernet cable. From the I7 to the wall is Belden Cat6.

Will DoP work with DSD 256? I think it does only DSD 128.

The link is a video of my system playing with Signature Rendu SE. A great upgrade I made moving from Ultrarendu + Sonore Signature Power Supply to the SR SE.

I have the same problem. I commented here before. And I don't use SGM. It is a software problem. I don't know if HQplayer's or Roon's. My DAC is PCM only, so DSD files are converted to PCM by HQPLayer.
