    Audirvana Plus 2.6

Re-ordering of playlists with 100+ songs is still broken for me in 2.6.3 and I'm getting other random bugs like the audio will just stop sometimes. The instability is a real shame - when it's working, 2.6.x has some great features and it uses much less cpu to play high res flacs than 2.5 does.

2.6.2 hasn't fixed the playlist bugs - if anything it's made them worse. E.g. creating a new playlist of the first 62 songs from my library and moving the last song in the playlist up a few places = a beachball that will never stop spinning.

I like the new browse and search functionality, but in search mode, the column headers have little arrows on, indicating that clicking on the header should re-order the list by the column values. It doesn't work though.

    Audirvana Plus 2.6

I'm having multiple problems with playlists on 2.6.1 under Yosemite 10.10.5. For example, when I create a new playlist then add a large number of tracks (~150), often the app will crash completely with a bad instruction exception when I try to re-order the tracks. Other times, re-ordering works, but I can't delete tracks from the playlist. Reliable playlist handling is really important to how I use Audirvana, so I've had to go back to 2.5.4 for now. Nico, RX4 AU's are working fine for me on OSX 10.10.5
  6. Brainworx's bx_solo is a plugin that will mix stereo down to mono and can be found here: https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/bx_solo.html The plugin itself is free, although you have to register on the site to activate it.
  7. I'm getting a few small bugs in the playlist handling of Audirvana 2.5.3. When I add songs to a playlist, then filter it on some search criteria, then reorder the playlist by dragging a song up or down the list, the reordering operation doesn't have any effect. Worse, when I clear the search criteria, nothing happens - only the previously filtered tracks are shown, and I need to restart Audirvana to see the full playlist again. Also, if I right click a track in a playlist, and add it to the same playlist, a message comes up saying that the track has been added, but it doesn't appear. After that, playlists can't be reordered or have tracks deleted. Again, restarting Audirvana fixes the issue. Finally, it would be great to be able to use Year as one of the selectable criteria for filtering tracks. Thanks.
  8. That's incredible. I've tested, and everything looks good. Thank you.
  9. I have an issue with the latest version truncating the display of the artist and album artist fields in track view. The metadata is fine and shown correctly in the track details panel, but the text is clipped in the main panel to a semi-random length - some tracks are fine, some groups of tracks are truncated at the same spot, others in different places. The truncation even happens part-way through a letter. Resizing the windows, changing column widths etc, doesn't have any effect. Changing the search criteria for what gets displayed sometimes seems to change which artist names are truncated. Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm running Yosemite 10.10.4 btw
  10. Thanks Damien for the 2.2 release. Its useful having the play queue track total and time - it would be great if this could be toggled to show time remaining, or if it behaved like iTunes used to do, and if you select multiple tracks, showed the time for the tracks selected. When I'm part way through playing a playlist or I've added files to the play queue, I'm more interested in knowing how much time remains till the end.
  11. >> Bug fixes: Fix manual playlist reordering using drag and drop of tracks inside the manual playlist Fix deletion of tracks in a manual playlist Fix slow synchronization when displaying tracks list view of whole library << I really wanted to like this, because I prefer A+ handling of AudioUnits to JRiver etc but playlist handling is still terrible. Moving a track to the end of a playlist breaks A+ and you can no longer re-order tracks at all. Also, it seems that it's impossible to delete a track from a playlist. Was this even tested?
  12. Playlist handling is broken worse in 2.0.10 than it was in 2.0.9. Previously, deleting a track from a playlist was bugged, but re-ordering the tracks fixed the problem. Now, when you delete a track from a playlist, the playlist refreshes properly, but you can't do anything else unless you first switch back to the music folder (with a big lag now) and then back again. Re-ordering the playlist is practically impossible - you seem to be able to re-order a maximum of two tracks. I'm not able to re-order anymore without restarting Audivarna. I'd strongly recommend that anyone thinking of upgrading to 2.0.10 makes sure that they have a way of getting back to 2.0.9.
