  1. Three tubs of 7.5Kg each? was looking at the Performance stand as well but how full did you filled in each stand? Btw, anyone knows where to get some discount on the stand, please PM me.
  2. I had couple issue before the latest update and so far so good after the update. Be sure to use a credit card that gives you extra warranty for peace of mind.
  3. Any update will be an improvement for sure. Will try when back home today. Can't wait. Everytime that music was paused from Foobar2000, it will have loud buzzing noise when resume for sure at current state. I have no problem streaming and pausing to PS Audio Dac. Hope to see if this fix it.
  4. This may be the fix for the buzzing noise? If so, sweet.
  5. 36".. that is tall for me but thanks for the suggestion.
  6. Hi Camott, I may try both to see which I like the best in terms of placement. Thanks for the floor stand recommendation.
  7. don't know if this is a good place to ask this but as my ls50w is on the way so I am looking at stands that should help as this will be my first 2ch speaker system other than the headphone setup I have. Quick googling led me to Atacma Nexus series floor stand as linked below. https://www.whathifi.com/atacama/nexus-6/review and IsoAcoustics Aperta series for table stand. http://www.isoacoustics.com/products/aperta-series/aperta/ What would one recommend and tips for choosing the "most appropriate budget" one? Thanks for helping an newbie in advance.
  8. Credit to Ratbert over at Roonlabs forum but I haven't gotten mine as they are on the way. To set Master as Left Channel, 1 In PC source press the space between source select and volume down icon 5 times 2. Press volume up icon once 3. Press A, the blinking icon will swap from C to D. 4. Press B to confirm and exit. Repeating the above process will swap the channels back again. https://community.roonlabs.com/t/how-to-change-kef-ls50w-master-from-right-to-left/31999
  9. Yes. It sounds to me that this project would require one to have a PS3 optical rom drive but I am confused as from which version of the PS3 hardware one really need. If it was the hardware decryption chipset that really enable the SACD support on the original fat PS3, wouldn't one think that ANY fat PS3 would have the best chance of using the same optical rom unit as the first batch? Certainly crossing my finger and subscribe to this thread for the follow-ups.
  10. doh.. I was hoping that the rom used inside the later ones that didn't list SACD the same as the one that does as manufacturer would purchase a load of the same item at the time to decrease cost. Sony may disable the feature on the firmware level only. If one need to get the PS3 that supports SACD to start with, why would they join this project other than they have upgrade to the newer firmware. Anyway, I am still interested in this project.
  11. Hi All, Long time lurker and my 1st post here. The need of of an old PS3 drive requirement. <-- Does it need to be from the one that support SACD playback already or any Fat PS3 unit would do? Thanks for making this clear for me in advance.
