No worries. I believe that I hear some differences with MConect, Glider, and 8 Player and now JPlay. Could be placebo, I guess. The app itself is nice and works well, for sure. -

Thanks for your input here. Very much appreciated. Yes doesn't look like the Chord Poly/2go users will be able to use JPlay to play their SD cards on the go. JPlay has such good sound otherwise. -

That works great thanks. Thanks for your input. The idea of the Chord Poly Hotspot is to be able to use your phone to play the Poly's SD card music files while on the go. So, you don't need a "normal" active internet connection. The MConnect and other apps work just fine but don't need a "normal" active wifi connection to start the apps. -

I tried the above. Doesn't work. MConnect doesn't need a Wifi connection to validate subscription and will find the Poly hotspot without a problem -

When the Poly is in hotspot mode, it shows up as a “network” in Settings > WiFi. See my post with the added pics from iOS and MConnect -

Yes thanks for looking into this Marcin. As you know, the issue is that JPlay can't find the Chord Poly (or 2go) as a wifi hotspot and says that Jplay cannot launch the app since it can't see the Poly's wifi hotspot. Consequently, it says that there is no active internet connection is available. MConnect, 8Player, and Glider all connect with the Poly's wifi hotspot without any difficulty. -

Hi all, Has anyone tried the new JPLAY iOS app with the Chord 2go/Hugo 2 combination in hotspot mode. I can't get the JPLAY iOS app to work and read/play from the 2go SD card in hotspot mode like MConnect and other apps work. It appears that JPLAY does not see the 2go as a hotspot and the error message is "no interconnection seen." MConnect and others find the 2go as a hotspot no problem. Does anyone know why this is the case? JPLAY sounds really good otherwise. Thanks. -

I’m getting the spinning wheel on Linn Kazoo too with 2.7. I’ve tried everything.
