  1. A question - besides the great immersive effect you get here, could this also be a workable solution for a working from home setup to keep noise out? If I could fit a smallish desk for a monitor, keyboard and mouse, and my Genelec speakers, I'd be very happy. I'm losing a study room soon, and could use this as my "office" as needed.
  2. I'm owed a Wave, Vi, and Source ... and I barely remember if anything else. So, does it matter to what specification the Wave was? And a copy of the link, please.
  3. Are you putting devices e.g. NAS, on the first "A" with the main network or the second "A"? Or has there been no difference?
  4. As a consequence of this turn around setup, wouldn't your "pipe" from the house network now be limited to 100 Mbit/s coming through the switch? Might not be an issue for just audio, but maybe other data transfers. I'm soon changing to the "standard" way with a JS-2 powering a NUC on the A side and the eR, and will use the ground screw.
  5. As a budget option instead of going down the Sonore optical path, would these components work for using the SFP cage of the ER? Media Converter https://www.fs.com/products/35334.html or https://www.tp-link.com/au/business-networking/accessory/mc220l/ SFP Module (Single Mode) x 2 https://www.fs.com/products/12674.html or https://www.tp-link.com/au/business-networking/accessory/tl-sm311ls/ And If I picked these, what would be the right Fiber for a 10m run?
  6. I'm in Aus, and I can find one of these to replace your second item https://www.mektronics.com.au/clipsal-grounding-plug.html I can't find a wire that has a ring terminal at one end and a spade at the other for my eR. Any hints?
  7. Alex, similar question from me. I want to power both a NUC as Roon Server and EtherRegen from my JS-2. The NUC will be connected over copper Ethernet to the "A" side. In that situation, might it pick up a ground loop? What should I do?
  8. Resurrecting this thread... Can this NUC (8th Gen NUC Core i7-8559U 2.7 GHz, NUC8i7BEH) be powered by a 12v high amperage LPS? I have a JS-2 I’d like to use to power it. The NUC is in a fanless case, and has a single M2 drive which will run Roon ROCK and the library. Only Ethernet connected, as the content is on a NAS on my network. Before I get asked “try it”, the NUC arrives in a week.
  9. I’m still keen on this. Spare microRendu and drive at the ready. 🤤
  10. Well, we won't be seeing anything more on lhlabs.com... http://lhlabs.com
  11. An interesting idea. But it doesn't help for people like me after a VI Dac, a Source, an LPS4 as well as a Wave. They should shut it all down, even if it means we only get cents in the dollar. Otherwise cash burn will see nothing. If I get any of my "perked" products in a working state, I will apologise profusely to Jarek and Larry. But I think I have a sure bet.
