Hi, I have been interested in the DCS NB for a while. My dealer informed met the price of the NB goes from 4000€ to 5000€ on the 1st of August. Any of you heard the same info? Thanks Yves

I’m really curious to read your findings. Not many people have compared the n10 and the NB from a sq point of view. I realize they are different beasts and there are more variables with the NB (nas, network, etc) but I’m still curious if the NB is not more flexible and equal from a sq point of view.

Doesn't that draw you to an all-in-one solution such as Aurender? That would avoid (or drastically reduce) network reliance and other devices on the network (routers, switches, cabling, NAS, PC, etc).

Any thoughts on the DCS Network Bridge vs the Bricasti M5. They look very similar.

Yep, I understand! Roon seems to be really cool. It would allow me to integrate some older streamers I have around the house and have multi room with my main system. I'd be totally happy with that, but SQ would still be the most important thing in my main system.

Yes, I've read it before. The reviewer seems to go back and forth between the N10 and the Antipodes, but yes ultimately chooses the Antipodes. It will be very interesting to read your findings if you can test it on your system at home. I need to get to a local dealer with some of my music and compare the DCS NB and N10.

True! For some reason I would have more faith in the Aurender N10 at that price range. The Antipodes "feels" more like a computer. On the other hand the SQ is ultimately what matters.

Anyone here who considered the Manhattan II with the optional "Roon ready" network card as an all in one streamer+DAC?

This is a brilliant topic! I've been wondering for over a year what solution to choose. Ultimately I would like to have 4-5 5-10k streamers at home to test with my McIntosh set up. Very hard to choose what's best. Right now I hesitate between DCS NB and Aurender N10. I need SPDIF, Roon is not a must. Most important is SQ. If I can surpass the SQ of my current CD transport (whilst using the SPDIF input on that same CD player) with a streamer under 10k I'm buying it today!

That is one of my concerns. With the NB SQ will be influenced by many more components affecting end result.

I've been looking for an answer to this question but it is hard to find ... Has anyone compare the sound quality of the Aurender N10 and the DCS Network Bridge on the same system? If so what were your findings?

I still hope someone will have the chance to compare the DCS to the Aurender N10. I know it is different functionality and eventually a totally different animal. But I would like to know if all other components are the same what is the best digital source of those 2.
