Hello. I'm quite a newbie myself but I will try to answer your question about Cayin Dac 11. I've got it 3 days ago, hoping it will replace my Asus Xonar ST internal soundcard which is kind of bright, lean sounding. Because Cayn Dac 11 is a tube dac, I was hoping for a more analog like sound with sweet midrange and smooth hights. All I can tell you is the Cayin Dac is brighter, has harsher treble, wooly midrange and lesser bas than the Asus sound card. I don't know if it needs more burn in time but I don't think it will get considerably better. I think either the Arcam IrDac or Rega Dac will be much more musical and neutral, also cheaper.
