  1. Good lord. Listening to it right now. I'm completely re-discovering it!
  2. Wonderful! Amongst all these records, if you had to pick three, which are the best ones? Now i'm being all sentimental, but my best deal ever was probably The Dreaming by Kate Bush several years ago ... it really turned things around, and opened up a whole new world. I had heard some earlier stuff like The Kick Inside, i liked the cover of the album, and i had already been given a turntable by my dad. It left me terrified in a good way, there's so much going on on that album.
  3. Take this Madonna album for an example: Like A Virgin | HDtracks - The World's Greatest-Sounding Music Downloads Does this mean that the album actually was recorden in 192khz/24bit, or is there a way to improve the audio beyond it's original quality?
  4. Oh, i was playing the DTS version from the dvd. Switched to the LPCM-version, and now the bitrate is at around 7000. Let's hope the code in the bluray version grants you better quality than my code did. Otherwise there might be a way to convert the 96/24 version from the bluray to flac, or am i completely wrong?
  5. It says on the website that both the bluray and dvd version will be 96/24 5.1 stereo. Edit: Yeah, im listening to it right now, and it sounds better. Good lord, it's up at around 4000 kbps.
  6. Hi! I bought HCE on vinyl. With it came a code for downloading the album both in flac and mp3 from the Kscope website. I downloaded it, unziped it, and the flac version sounds great! However, recently SW said in an interview that he couldn't see any reason why one should record in anything under 96/24, and that 96/24 should be standard. Has Kscope gone behind his back, because i checked the flac files, and they're 44.1/16. It's not like i care that much, it still sounds bloody magnificent, but it seems a little strange. Has anyone else noticed it? Cheers
  7. Hi I've listened to some of SW's remasters and of course his own albums. Hand. Cannot. Erase blew me away, and so did The Raven. For some years now i have gradually turned into quite the audiophile-diva. Constantly bugging myself over people using good and expensive gear, while listening to music through services such as spotify. ^^ However. I read this article today; and now i feel like i just have to get involved in some way or another. Found this forum, and it seems very nice, unlike my friends, whom does not wish to hear anything that is good quality audio, or know anything about it. Cheers
