  1. Hello, I purchased a Pioneer Elite BDP-80FD. I use Windows. Which page of this thread has the most up to date set of instructions for ripping SACD with this blu-ray player and Windows? @ted_b 's SACD ripping guide in the first post still discusses PS3. Thanks in advance for your help.
  2. CatManDo, Thank you for the quick response. I upgraded my Oppo to the NuForce Edition, but since that is analog output I doubt that will help any. So I need to buy another Oppo which will work or use the PS3 that I have. I just downloaded Ted_b 's SACD ripping guide so I think I will give that a try. The firmware is already modified and I'm the original owner and I've played SACD's on it. I searched for the forum thread where there was a discussion about using PS3 drives in an external format to rip SACD using a PC, but could not find it. Do you know where that is or if that project died? I think I committed to buying 2 of them if the project went through. Thanks again, Mark
  3. I apologize for being late to the game. I read the first page and the last page. Can someone tell me if my Oppo BDP93 will work? If not what Oppo models are proven to work? I still have a FAT PS3 with custom firmware, but have never set up the SACD extract. I've been waiting for the external PS3 drive USB option. Any help is greatly appreciated. I would love to turn my SACD collection into DSD files to play in JRiver or on my Pono. Mark
  4. OK. First post. So I'm number #262. It would be great to see a purchase option if you already have a working drive. My Pono plays DSF and I'd love to rip my SACDs to play them on a portable DAC. Let's do this!
