  1. I've noticed on my Qobuz app on my Android phone, along the bottom task bar, on the "Offline Library" icon there is a little red dot, and it looks like a tiny "1" inside it and there is a down arrow constantly moving down over this icon. I have never used the Offline Library, did I inadvertently turn on downloading to my offline library? I cannot figure out how to turn this off. Also, "My Weekly Q" never seems to include anything I've ever listened to, and doesn't even seem to follow my favorite genres. Is there any way to set Qobuz so the Weekly Q is more accurate, or increase better quality music discovery? Also, the Weekly Q lists only about 30 songs. Is there any way to increase the number of songs? It seems music discovery with Qobuz is fairly dismal, or I'm doing something wrong... TIA
  2. I'm in USA and cannot get Qobuz to stream on either laptop or android. Anybody else having issues?
  3. Weird. Not sure what I did different, but it works now. BTW, what does the "strict" tag do? Thanks.
  4. When I search for Ronnie Earl or Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters nothing comes up. I have also searched with his album names and most of the time there is nothing, occasionally it will find an album. And occasionally a song search will be successful in finding cuts by Earl. I have a bunch of albums by Ronnie Earl in my saved playlists that I can pull up and listen to. But it's strange that nothing comes up with artist name search. Is there a solution to this? Has anyone else discovered any other artist search fails?
  5. @David Craff I have found some spots in Qobuz's library to be missing some artist's albums. I had the web page to suggest additions to Qobuz's library and misplaced it's bookmark. Is that still available?
  6. This 1+ I am constantly adding new songs to playlists and then finding out later that I have multiple duplicates as well. Any chance this could be instituted @David Craff? Also, I had the web page to suggest additions to Qobuz's library and misplaced it's bookmark. Does anyone have that?
  7. I wholeheartedly second this! With most other streaming services, whenever you attempt to add a duplicate song to one of your playlists they will warn you are about to do that. I am in the beginning stages of building my playlists and really do not want much duplicity. Once you start to get sizeable playlists there is no way you can remember what you have or don't have in them.
  8. I have had the entry level Purist Audio Design Elementa interconnect for many, many, years. Had to send them back once to Purist Audio to get them refilled with whatever fluid was in them. I still use them but I think the fluid is gone but they sound ok. I don't know if Purist still puts fluid in their cables or not anymore. Mine are very old, I don't change out cables much :-)
  9. +1, This. I set up port forwarding on my router which allows me to listen to my library from basically anywhere in the world from my Android phone via Gizmo, and I also reference it when I am out and about buying CD's so I don't duplicate any purchases. It is easy to search in Gizmo via Artist, Album, Genre, Composer or Playlist, however it's a little buggy at times because it doesn't connect all the time...
  10. My chain to drive my LS50's is in my signature and I think it has pretty good synergy. On my desktop they are about 4 feet apart and 4 feet from my head with the tweeters at ear level and crossing over about a foot behind my head for good imaging effect. With them pointing more directly at me, I lose the depth and imaging. The Halo has 160 watts into 8ohms and 240 into 4ohms so it is not lacking any power for the LS50's. It also has a built in DAC that really isn't too bad, and I would suppose some would be content with it, without using an outboard DAC, but once I heard what the PS Audio can do I was hooked on it.
  11. I just wanted to follow up in case anyone else may have experienced any issues with the Sbooster Vbus isolator. I have been running without the Vbus isolator for about ten days without any locking up and have since emailed Sbooster regarding this issue. Wiebren Draaijer with Sbooster has been very responsive and helpful by sending me the newer red Vbus isolator to replace my black one with the idea it may have been defective. This arrived yesterday and everything seemed to work, but after less than 24 hours my computer froze up again just like I described in my original post. This is so odd because as in this reply from Wiebren, nothing should affect it like it does. So I think I will skip this particular tweak unless I determine what is at fault.
  12. So I recently purchased and attempted to use the Sbooster Vbus isolator and I started having problems with my laptop freezing up. My desktop system: JRiver 21 version 21.0.66 > Supra USB > UpTone Audio USB Regen > Hard adapter > PS Audio PerfectWave II 2.4.3 > Discovery Plus 4 XLR > Parasound Halo > AudioTruth Argent SC > KEF LS50 + HSU STF-1 Sub x 2. When my computer freezes, I have to either End Process’s via Task Manager or do a hard shut down, and most recently, I will get a blue screen and it will reboot itself. I was also blowing the fuses in my PS Audio PerfectWave DAC. From my understanding, my DAC doesn’t need the 5 volts to operate but whenever I take the SBooster out of the chain everything works normally with no locking up or freezes. My laptop is Windows 7, (SSD for operating system and 2TB HDD for data and music files), with all MS updates, and I'm using Kaspersky AV if that makes any difference. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any input.
  13. I have the plastic IsoAcoustic stands using the long rods which brings the concentric tweeter/woofer to ear level on my 5' x 3' desktop in a nearfield equilateral placement. I like them a lot. What sold me on them was a YouTube video from IsoAcoustics at Metalworks recording studio. I haven't read any reviews of the metal vs plastic IsoAcoustics, so I'm unable to give you any input on the differences, if any, between them. Enjoy the music!
  14. tmc1284, You can see my desktop system in my signature. IMO, the LS50's make a great desktop speaker and have them on IsoAcoustic stands. The concentric woofer/tweeter makes for a very coherent nearfield experience. I have them hooked up via a PS Audio Perfectwave DAC and Parasound Halo integrated amp. Prior to the Parasound I had a NAD C 356BEE integrated which was a good match as well, but the Parasound has a little more power for the somewhat power hungry LS50's. Their sensitivity is 85dB, and nominal impedance is 8Ω but drops as low as 3.2Ω.
