  1. I'd like to talk a little about my experience with the Sonore Signature Rendu SE. I purchased the first Signature Series Rendu with the i2s and BNC outputs and really loved it as I was using the PSAudio DirectStream DAC. Since that DAC had an i2s input I felt it would be a great match which it was. As many know in this hobby, there is always the urge to upgrade or try a different flavor. A buzz started on the forums about how good the Schiit Yggy DAC was. I couldn't resist so I purchased one. It lived up to it's reputation and is still one of the best DAC's available. It did not have an i2s input but I was able to use it's BNC connection in conjunction with the Sonore Signature Series Rendu. The SSSR never failed to impress and streamed my music flawlessly. A few years passed and I learned of a new Sonore Rendu SE coming to market. What intrigued me was the the ability to go optical. So of course I had to try that product. Man am I glad I did,it took my system to another level in terms of transparency, dynamics, and liquidity. This model only has one usb output but it had an incredible synergy with the Yggy's usb unison imput. I now use Sonore Rendu SE with a Holo May Audio DAC and this combination I'm sorry to say surpasses the Yggy SRSE combo as well as it should since the Holo is more than twice the price. I can whole heartedly recommend the Sonore Signature Rendu line as it has worked with three of my DAC's and has never given me a problem.
  2. Most likely from the 26 cd box set "King Crimson - 1969 The Complete Recordings" It contains an Atmos mix by Steven Wilson
  3. I am experiencing the exact same thing. Looking forward to some suggestions.
