Hi, I am new here so I hope this message arrives in the right spot.
I would like to add the Auralic Aries to the digital active speakers Beolab 20 via Toslink directly. However, the Beolab manual states that "all connected sources must be volume regulated", including those via Toslink.
So, I sent a message to the Aries support desk to confirm if the Aries has digital volume control. The claimed it did not.
However, on this forum (at the beta test), a member said to have "disabled the digital volume" - which sort of suggests otherwise. Also, the Aries remote that i saw on images has a volume button, as well as Lightning DS (or so I heard).
In short, I am confused. Could anybody tell me what their experiences are?
