A quick question. As a new D1 user, I'm assuming that my HDD attached to the USB port at the rear of the unit will enable me to see the drive in the Music Library list in the Lumin app? If not, how do I access it. Currently not visible. Formatted as EXFat on a Mac under El Capitan

Wondered if it is possible to install an internal ssd on the d1... Am aware of portable options via usb but curious to know about internal possibilities

Thanks I have sorted the issue in that I was trying to create a network folder rather than a local folder... Now all good and large library has been indexed... With some drop outs... My set up is not ideal 415+ 8gb and external SSD... But it's bearable

Can I ask what file path people are using in creating watched folders? I try /Volume x/music with x as my volume number and it fails every time

Has anyone tried to use a third party dac with this streamer? It appears it is locked down to its own dacs... Just curious. Also I like the look and sound of the PP but my budget won't stretch to the DAC as well.

OK now found...BUT...I get this ...showing Volume 2 as the location and no way to change this default position to the USB device...WHY??

Can someone help me here...on my 415+ I go to external devices which sees my external USB 3 SSD. When I try and create a new share, I'm assuming that the SSD should appear as an option for my destination for the Roon Server files? I don't have that option...only the 4 Volumes of the 4 drives installed in the NAS...what have I missed?

Dio I need to connect it any other device? Although the matrix shows a frequency I am not getting a signal to my speakers even though I have rca line out to my preamp. My mac mini is running Roon but I imagine that I won't be able to have the mini and the matrix connected to the SE simultaneously... Or will I?

That did the trick... Thank you... Matrix now displays a frequency rate so it has picked up a source from the USB output

I continually get cannot connect to the server after a reboot... New to the SE and having issues. Have it Ethernet connected to my Fritzbox and via USB to my matrix mini. Wanting to access my library on my synology 415+ with no luck. Can someone please help a clueless newbie out? Is there another link in the chain that I'm missing? Had the output set to USB on the SE ... Checked network settings on the Fritzbox to confirm that the ip address was still the same and it is... Not sure what the issue is here...

If it's any consolation, I too have the same issue in the Lumin app where it crashes at the start... No Tidal implementation here either. Have updated all units to latest firmware/versions. Mini does not want to play with Lumin here...

When you say you had a few problems can you please elaborate...I too am having network issues... Getting a null error when playing files... Unable to play any files as such
