I agree with your comments entirely , I listen to vinyl and digital , and as far as cost goes my analogue front end has cost more than the digital . When I do the maths the analogue cost was twice as much as the digital . I am from the analogue age , being in my mid fifties , but get huge pleasure from both sources . In the end , people should not go around picking fights about the merits of one format over another , chill out and just enjoy the music ! Peace and Love , as Ritchie always says ...

While I have not had serious problems with my Aries a friend has had a failure to start which resulted in the unit having to be returned to the Dealer. After three weeks he still has not heard any news . I don't know if any other owners have encountered this fault but surely Auralic should have just promptly replaced the unit .

Has anyone had any problems with Lightning DS crashing when touching the Que icon , it has happened once before to me about two weeks ago, I noticed it was back again tonight. I cycled the iPad but it made no difference . Suggestions gladly welcomed !

Thank you bplexico, I had refreshed the cache on the Lightning software and that was enough to correct the art work mix- up. I will have to make notes of all the useful information you and other CA members have kindly shared. It will come in handy to pass on to a friend who is taking delivery of an Aries next week. Aah! The penny drops. I was unaware I had to download MinimWatch on a nearby PC in order to enable my Lightning DS Library to see changes to files and folders on my NAS. I was amused to note that now my folders have been updated my artwork is very confused ! Perhaps another day I will find out how to put that right, as long as the music comes out of the speakers I won't complain ! Many Thanks to all who have steered me in the right direction !

Thank you JDOz , I repeated your solution and I am now back in action! The reason I was refreshing the cache in the first place was to add more music folders, which I had transferred to my NAS. At this time I have not got the new folders in the library, there must be a way to perform this simple task, as yet, I am unable to do it. Anybody out there with a solution to my ineptitude , I would be glad to hear from you!

I am having problems re-loading my music library , I have cleared and refreshed the cache but although the Lightning software goes through the motions , including downloading album artwork, nothing ever appears. I have a NAS box, wired to the Aries, which is performing ok on radio and AirPlay modes, I have tried powering down the Aries and the router. If anyone has any ideas I would be delighted to hear from you! Until then, I will return to listening to my vinyl!!
