  1. YES YOU DO. You sent the dealers a wrong press release and wrong marketing information. They put it on line in good faith. They mislead customers on your behalf. Some of them buy expensive routers because the dealers tell them to and believe your product has capabilities it does not actually have (see Tweekgeek, really great guys btw). You figure it out (thanks to your loyal customers that care telling it to you, trust me you are not wasting your time). You take the pen and write to the dealers. Take responsibility. You fix the situation and you learn from it. This is how you build a great company. Your choice. Ps: you might want to ask the 3 beta testers to respect other people's pov, their activity and lack of objectivity damages your brand as it's hard not to see some sort of proximity between your company and these guys. Time for dinner now, good luck!!
  2. What One might find suspicious is he same 3 guys answering on behalf of the company when I am asking a fair and direct question to the CEO. Read the Tweekgeek website selling info on the Aries and then reconsider your position. This is what they say today (and not on day 1 whatever that means) which is false, highly misleading and pushes customers to buy a product that does not have the claimed capabilities + an AC router they don't need!!! (I hope you get this point by now) In legal terms this is called false advertising, and if you don't consider this a problem you might want to call your lawyer and check it out. Or simply keep beta testing but don't criticize/offend others with senseless allegations. Mr Wang, hopefully you can answer to me as you did with others before. Explain why the press release is wrong, why your comments on this blog are wrong and why you don't write to all your dealers about this issue and ensure no more customer are mislead? Thank you.
  3. Really wondering why you guys keep answering for Mr Wang. He is a big guy who made a mistake by sending out a wrong press release on 802.11ac, making comments on blog about this and never amending his official specs till today despite being aware they were not true. Given that normal human beings that are not beta testers of Auralic tend to trust what they read, let me show you the damage that a false communication does to customers. This is from the website I bought my Aries from - tweek geek. A very reputable site that obviously leverages Auralic informations to sell its products. This is what you find on the Aries: IMPORTANT: What is needed (In Addition To The Aries) A network connected computer, or NAS with your music collection on it. You will need to install a program called minimserver on this computer or NAS as well. This will allow your Aries to be recognized by the network and allow your music collection to be catalogued by the Lightning ap. A high speed internet connection. A current router that supports 802.11ac (Gigabit). Here is a list of Routers we recommend NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Dual Band Wi-Fi Gigabit Router (R7000) Linksys WRT1900AC Dual-Band Wireless-AC Router -Frustration-Free Packaging Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station (ME918LL/A) TRENDnet Wireless AC1750 Dual Band Gigabit Router with USB Share Port, TEW-812DRU Version 2.1 Lightning, the speedy, versatile lynchpin of the new system, showcases several industry firsts. It’s the first streaming solution based on dual-band 802.11ac Gigabit Wi-Fi, among the world’s fastest, with a maximum speed of 1300 Mbps. As a result, Lightning is also the first system able to stream Direct Stream Digital (DSD), double-rate DSD and Digital eXtreme Definition (DXD) wirelessly. go hereto check it out Auralic Aries and click on product description this is wrong information, pushes customers to buy expensive AC routers (I only run 1 Aries and nothing else, n would have been just fine) and it's not Tweekgeek fault! mr Wang (and not the beta tester friends, pls spare us of your platitudes), can you pls explain why this mess??? The minimum you should do tomorrow is to contact all your dealers and fix these false and misleading statements. A very frustrated customer.
  4. I am new to this type of blogs - my question is for mr Wang and not for you, unsure why you keep answering on the company's behalf when we have the CEO here. This is what Auralic put in their press release for the launch of the Aries: Lightning, the speedy, versatile lynchpin of the new system, showcases several industry firsts. It’s the first streaming solution based on dual-band 802.11ac Gigabit Wi-Fi, among the world’s fastest, with a maximum speed of 1300 Mbps. As a result, Lightning is also the first system able to stream Direct Stream Digital (DSD), double-rate DSD and Digital eXtreme Definition (DXD) wirelessly. and if you want to read it all it is here http://www.hificlube.net/download.ashx?media=/media/168289/Auralic%20Aries%20press%20release.pdf mR Wang, can you comment???
  5. Mr Wang - I had the same problem as other people and bought expensive AC router because of your official spec sheet and magazines reporting that the Aries works with 802.11ac standard. A friend just shared with me this blog and I wanted to share my frustration at your company's behavior. I don't understand how you can say that from day 1 your never talked about 802.11ac... It was in your website, and as GTX mentioned you talked about it on computer audiophile blog last April with quite some conviction (copying below to refresh your mind)... Can you explain???!!!!?? :-(((( --- 01-04-2014, 01:56 PM #70 Wang Xuanqian Sophomore Member Originally Posted by Andrew_WOT 802.11ac as wi-fi? However, only 802.11ac has been proved that be able to offer smooth playback of super high resolution audio such as DSD128 and DXD without glitch at home environment.
