I recall somewhere that someone suggested that if I wanted high-res opera, then I should look for blue ray dvd's from somewhere like the MET. Can anyone confirm if that would provide a high-res audio experience?

Seems this page is only available in French. Searing for hm-janv-2015 on the /gb-en/ language directory does not return results, so you may need to use google translator.

I've had an opportunity to be a long time listener of a variety polka show on the radio, which has sadly ended, but I am curious if anyone can recommend a high quality polka recording? Thanks in any case!

I found the signup URL via their search page, but it returned a 404, so I contacted the BSO via Customer Service Manager and left a voice mail, and also emailed, and got the following reply: "Thank you for your email. They are not available at this time." This was in reference to the Digital Subscription (AIFF) The MP3 and FLAC links are broken, too.
