I got the answer from LH and it worked. "in jriver, go to tools/options and change the geek pulse from directsound to wasapi. also tools/options then click dsp & output format and make sure all the sample rates say no change."

Hello everyone, My 1st post here. I just bought a Geek Pulse DAC from Light Harmonic and downloaded a trial Jriver software. This is my first DAC and 1st attempt to use PC to play music. I notice the front of my DAC always show 44.1K regardless of the file format of my music is. I have both 44.1K and 96K formatted files in my hard drive so I am not sure if I set up the Jriver correctly. By the way I connect my PC to the Geek Pulse with a USB cable. I leave everything unchanged on the output panel in Jriver. Thanks ... Tropical
