  1. My apologies for the lack of spaces in parts of the above post - I don't know what happened there. Is there any chance of Dynaudio (if you're reading this) posting further details of the Connect Hub? Rumours of something along this line seem to have been circulating for several months, but there is almost nothing published as far as my searches have shown. Thanks.
  2. Excellent review of a very interesting bit of kit. As theowner of a pair of Xeo 6s I’m somewhat prejudiced but they are amazing, and allthings considered really good value for money too. A couple of points – these speakersreally benefit from being “run in”. They were impressive out of the box, butafter a few weeks use really opened up. I’m intrigued by the new Connect Hub with itsupdated feature set and plan to upgrade as soon as it’s available. For a relativelymodest piece of kit at a low’ish price the hub does some excellent work.
  3. This excellent well-thought out script sound like a "must try". Rather than try to re-invent the wheel, has anyone developed a successful scheme to try the script, with full reversion to original conditions? I'm thinking that a new user account and system restore may have a part to play but I'd like to "sandbox" the new setup so I can revert to original settings. I know that there's a "revert script" but I'd like some belt 'n braces too. Thanks.
  4. I've recently bought a pair of Xeo 6 wireless speakers and I'm loving them. The convenience of being able to move the speakers from room to room, coupled with excellent presentation is a winning combination. Inevitably I'm thinking of ways to get the best out of the system, hence the post. The current setup is based on playing FLAC files of ripped CDs through a laptop, coupled to the Xeo hub via the USB port. While this works well, I'm looking for something with more flexibility and (possibly) a higher quality signal to feed to the hub. I'm aware that non-specialised computer environments can be "noisy" so any suggestions on alternative techniques would be welcome. Thanks.
