Thanks for mentioning this, again. I don't know what it is. So, I didn't think much about it. "Other point is that if the PC contains some virtual network interfaces like Hyper-V, best to have them disabled. " I just read this about my motherboard. I'll follow the instructions and get it turned off. MSI laptops have Intel Virtualization Technology enabled by default.

Correct. Just to see what the log looked like, if I did keep the laptop running HQP, I did this and the log looks very different. This has not been the issue in all of the attempts that I've made.

I'm the person who built the new PC that TJHUB referenced above. Until I built the new desktop, I was running HQPlayer with a Dell XPS15 laptop running Windows 10 Home. I can still use this laptop to run HQPlayer; connecting to the UpBoard with an EE DAC attached. I've tried using the same version of HQPlayer as that on my laptop ( 4.17.1 ) and also 4.21.1. I've disabled the firewall and Windows defender. I determined the ip address of the NAA and pinged it from the desktop; it went fine. In reviewing the HPQ log file, I see the following : 2023/02/18 09:47:49 NAA output discovered 1 Network Audio Adapters 2023/02/18 09:47:49 NAA output adapter '' not found Jussi indicated that "the NAA is found just fine, but there are no available audio devices behind it. Thus nothing can be shown on the list. Do you have a DAC connected with correct input selected?" I have the EE DAC attached to the UpBoard via its only input, which is USB. I can still run HQP from my laptop. Why can HQP resolve the UpBoard / DAC from the laptop and not the desktop? Any help would be appreciated.
  5. I'd like to know how tightly the Pachanko reference and pure reference SATA cables can be bent. Option 1 for me is a 20cm cable with a 90 degree connector on one end and can be twisted. Option 2 is a 40cm cable without any 90 degree connectors. Please share your thoughts.
