Thank you for your input. I use neither Amarra Symphony or Audirvana Plus with iTunes. Since both are crashing with multiple reboots, I believe this is an El Capitan issue. Both programs have worked flawlessly for over a year until this Apple upgrade.

Both players have worked flawlessly in my system until this latest El Capitan upgrade. Now both will play for a little over a minute before crashing. Rebooting just repeats the problem. I've notified Apple and Sonic Studios.

With this update my Amarra Symphony and Ausirvana both crash after one minute. I have been using both for 15 months flawlessly until this last upgrade. I have notified Amarra as well as Apple.

I have the same problem with new ALAC files downloaded the last couple of days. Even with the new upgrade, it still doesn't recognize the new files. With ITunes sync I can play the ALAC files. Title:
