  1. blablabla...check out the original post of this topic...
  2. He's even deleting my posts that I write as an answer to provoke me...even AFTER I reported them...keep it up Chris, way to go!!
  3. If you delete my posts, than delete all posts that are off topic and provoking me...
  4. LOL...mr. Prot here, a self declared non specialized IT guy (=hobbyist), is generally characterized as being the troll on this forum, even more than use "JPlay enthousiasts" so I wouldn't take his opinion, that he barfs all over this forum toward all and anything "audiophile", too seriously. And besides that he is using a Marantz AVR to 'judge' what we are doing to be non-effective...right. Also his main argument besides the 'bits are bits' argument is that better equipment/software is too expensive as in the price/quality ratio is zero. Of course we're way past that argument, or at least I am since 2005.
  5. Did you check out the Kinsky (plus MinimServer as media server software and BubbleUPNP) setup Marcin wrote about? If I'm not mistaken Kinsky supports multiple output zones.
  6. I'm running the exact same setup now and I think it's great as well! Hibernating on a single PC works very well using Foobar. I also see all artists by default now instead of only the album artists. Still I'm going to have a look at HQPlayer and XXHighend in the future but this will perfectly do for now.
  7. Firedog, you're 'downgrading'/twisting a discussion about an unethical malpractice of JRiver to something like us not getting a "feature" you name integration of 3rd party players. That's not helping you or us. JRiver has intentionally blacklisted one single 3rd party ASIO driver named JPlay so that customers of both JRiver and JPlay can no longer select this for output/as an output engine. This is wrong. JRiver should undo this sabotage. The fact that they did this right after someone on this forum posted a poll to see how many people would like to see JRiver change/remove the HOAX warning about JPlay, makes it not only plain wrong but even evil. To stop all this all JRiver has to do is remove the few lines of code sabotaging one single 3rd party product and remove that absurd HOAX warning popup. It's too bad Jim is actually "loving" this discussion as he wrote somewhere else, any sensible CEO would have already done some proper damage control instead of letting his ego stand in the way. As this is a discussion forum you can expect seeing our opinions pop up here and there again in the future in other topics discussing JRiver.
  8. I'm quite sure 99,9% of the members here prefer reading his posts over yours...
  9. Here I thought the Windows version was buggy but it actually seems to be the least buggy one. Lot's more problems with Mac and Linux versions I'm reading about everywhere. It's too bad for the customers that this software can't seem to break free from it's beta status (or alpha status on Mac/Linux)!
  10. Not everyone who's standing up for something is corrupt and being paid for it...
  11. I didn't click your link, did I miss out on something?
  12. Yeah, I can totally see why JRiver decided to punish their own customers also using JPlay by displaying an intrusive HOAX warning message in a browser. Them using JPlay makes them complicit to JPlay not complying to JRiver's requests/demands, right? It's just as much a warranted/justified thing like the fully rational, mentally sane and mature move as blacklisting JPlay's ASIO driver in JRMC after someone on this forum posted a poll to see how many people would like to see JRiver change/remove the HOAX warning...
  13. That's too bad, you holding your breath until I started talking would have shut me up! For five to ten minutes... Anyway, Netflix has killed your API that allowed people to watch Netflix in Theater View and you've asked your customers for help to sniff the communications from other software that still have a working API (still don't understand why you don't just do it yourselves) Help with Netflix Now people have to resort to using third party apps from within JRMC to regain that functionality...tell me this isn't true either...LOL
  14. What Skeptic wrote may or may not be true to the letter but fact is that without a change in terms from Spotify you can't integrate Spotify and Netflix recently shut off your API key breaking integration. So you're losing the cloud streaming vs. local playback battle and your customers still have nothing. And "integration" through you WDM sound driver is not real integration as you still can't control playback with JRiver or it's remotes.
  15. It's just feelings of failure and helplessness. Keep at it, refocus and you'll get there!
