    I have the same issue, but only on my iPad, not on the iPhone which works fine with ios8.1 and Jremote 3.10. The screen used as a remote for the PC client with the swipe area in the middle used to have three options at the base namely Theater, Display and Standard. They have disappeared on 3.10 the iPad iOS 8.1 - looks like a screen formatting issue.
