  1. BitPerfect Support did contact me with some suggestions to try however I had received a refund from Apple and the program had been deleted from the computer. I could have been more patient or they could have responded more quickly. It's a moot point since I've decided to stick with my old standby, an XP PC with foobar2000 that I built from scratch.
  2. iTunes works perfectly without BitPerfect. It is interesting that you're experiencing the spinning beach ball after growing the library. I also have at least that size and the ball spins until iTunes is forced to close. Unfortunately it appears the developer has abandoned the ship. I'm giving Audirvana Plus a try in integrated mode and it's works fine.
  3. Well it doesn't bode well for purchasers of BitPerfect. I've attempted to get support several times using the email address, [email protected]. I was able to get one reply so someone is monitoring. I asked: Are you supporting the program, BitPerfect? The answer was one word: Yes. That is one word more than I got from Apple when I asked for my money back.
  4. Hi, I'm new here though I've been lurking and gleaning some useful info on several threads. I've a new mini and using iTunes so thought I might try BitPerfect. It sounds nice enough to be satisfied for the time being but I'm having a bit of trouble getting the settings to play nice with iTunes, 11.2.1. The biggest of which is the spinning beach ball whenever the mouse pointer is in the iTunes window making all selections impossible after which iTunes must be forced to close. Another issue is when in shuffle mode bits of song play at the beginning of each song advance and songs become stuck in a loop where it goes back to the beginning halfway through. I've recently emailed Doug Stewart, the developer, but have not heard back. To be fair it hasn't been long, I'll give it more time. I believe he used to post on CA but his last was in July of this year. I'd really like to figure out these issues, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
