When we were in college, we booked Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers for a concert in the dining hall. We invited them to our house for dinner before the show, and Jonathan accepted! It was a VERY memorable evening. I would really love to have dinner (vegetarian) w/ Paul McCartney. In addition to have so much to talk about, he strikes me as a very nice person.

Thanks so much for sharing this, Chris. Very interesting stuff. The concept is very clever and has a number of advantages vs vinyl. However, it seems like the tapes would be very difficult to produce in volume vs. LP's.
