I am running devialet 250 into Tidal Piano D.
I tried 170 before 250. Eventually took 250.
I had mid level Naim separates before that (282/250.2/ndac).
170 was not a clear improvement over naim but 250 was.
Anyway, the reason for my post is, i recently tried super high end Tidal amps (impulse monblocs). Home demoed a week. Really shows shortcomings of devialet 250.
I was wondering whether anyone has tried 250 in monobloc configuration. And whether that is a big step up or not.
I would prefer to stay with devialet (so much smaller) but only if performance is somewhat close.
