DLNA mode with BubbleUPnP would also get access to Qobuz. -

Your friend might think of trying Logitech Media Server / Squeezelite mode, and install the Qobuz and/or Ickstream plugin. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Computer Audiophile mobile app -

Assuming your Melco operates as a UPnP / DLNA server, try going to http://www.bubblesoftapps.com, and follow the instructions to download and install BubbleUPnP Server. Access BubbleUPnP Server in your browser; set up your renderer as an OpenHome media renderer. Screenshots below of Linn Kazoo and Lumin apps on iPad with login option for Qobuz. -

You may be confusing BubbleUPnP the app with BubbleUPnP Server. BubbleUPnP Server is a supplemental installation to a UPnP / DLNA server software, enabling one to use the OpenHome protocol. BubbleUPnP app is not needed. Apps available on iOS like Linn Kazoo or Lumin work with an OpenHome server to provide Tidal and Qobuz. -
This is good for any installation of Logitech Media Server (LMS) whether on a PC (Windows, Mac OS X or Linux platforms), certain NASs or other hardware devices supporting (legacy Squeezebox players, some music servers from SOtM, Vortexbox, etc). IckStream is a plugin to LMS. The install process is fiddly - it involves copying the repository URL into the plugin page of LMS so the the plugin is accessible and installable. For me, I've got LMS with the plugin installed on a Symbology NAS streaming via ethernet to a SOtM SMS-100 renderer outputting USB into a DAC on my audio system.
