  1. What fake news ? https://www.facebook.com/highresaudio
  2. No MQA indicators and no sound
  3. Limiting the options for software used to play Tidal certainly won't help sales of MQA dacs
  4. I thought so, any chance that there is new documentation available ?
  5. My post yes. Hard to tell if the problem is with the API or BubbleUPnP itself, I'd think that the Bubbleguum knows but he's been quiet. Tidal's APi might be cause of the problem since Tidal plugin of LMS server does exactly the same thing and they probably use the same API
  6. Both BubbleUPnP and BubbleUPnP server cut down Masters tracks to 16/44.1 anyway, there is no possibility to let 24/44.1 or 24/48 passthrough to a streamer unmodified so it doesn't really matter much which streamer is used. I do have an MQA dac which is at the moment useless with both BubbleUPnP solutions. I tried to ask for a passthrough option but I didn't even receive an answer
  7. I see that know. If you read the comments at least one guy seems to have both blue and green led versions of one track : Computer Audiophile - My First 24 Hours With MQA
  8. I think you might have a better chance of getting an answer in Bluesound Node2 thread
  9. If Tidal app is playing straight to Explorer2 then passthrough option doesn't matter. If playing for example through JRivers wdm driver then things change and MQA led only turns on when passthrough option is enabled.
  10. If I capture a software decoded track and play it in Foobar then MQA led doesn't light up, if I capture a track with passthrough option disabled and play that one in Foobar then MQA led turns on
  11. You mean albums that play at 44.1 or 48 kHz ? With a quick 5 minute search starting from the end of Masters albums list I found these : tidal.com/album/68594179 tidal.com/album/68725744 tidal.com/album/68581195 tidal.com/album/68620380 tidal.com/album/68732153 tidal.com/album/68639594 tidal.com/album/68640671 tidal.com/album/68723724 tidal.com/album/68639546 tidal.com/album/68724758 I only browsed through couple of pages so not rare at all
  12. Yes, I saw that. Funny thing is that MQA version is upsampled even higher than HdTracks version
  13. Madonnas Like a virgin album also seem a bit odd, Explorer2 leds indicate 172.4 or 192 kHz playback but according to this it was recorded in 16/44.1 or 16/48 format. I thought the name Tidal Masters was referring to offering original masters
