Did you update manually to an sd card or via the update link in your browser?

I clicked on the upgrade link in Safari on my iPad and it seems to be advising I only do it manually to an SD card. I wish they would get someone with a better understanding of English to write these messages.

I have updated my sms200 to 4.4 via the update link on my iPad as usual. Only took about 5 mins as it normally does. 4.5 is now available. Am I correct in thinking that people are advising I shouldn’t do it. I am using Roon and MPD with no problems. Thanks.

Just had a listen out of interest on Qobuz and didn’t hear distortion at all. Just normal compressed sound from this type of pop song.

Good news this problem is now solved and DSD 256 Native is working correctly!I have been on a TeamViewer session with SoTM. They found that a file was missing from the last few updates and the DSD rate and mode were not being set correctly, This should be corrected in the next update, V3.4. Presumably this only affected the Brooklyn.I must say the customer service from SoTM was excellent.Ian

Thanks but Roon have informed me that when using a network device such as SoTM this native setting does not appear. The Native option is within the SoTM setup, which I have set.

OK Thankyou. I really need to know if anyone has got it working to a Roon endpoint. I can only get DSD128 to work.

Does the Mytek Brooklyn support Native DSD256 over USB. I can only get DSD128 to work from a Roon Ready endpoint (SoTM sms200). Source is a Mac. Thanks.

I'm using a Mytek Brooklyn with my SMS200 and playing out from Roon Server 1.3 on a Mac Mini to Roon Ready on the SMS200. I am unable to get Native DSD to work. DSD 256 is being converted to PCM. With the SMS200 set to Native I am still seeing the DOP options in Roon. The SMS is on latest firmware 3.3 and is set to DSD Native. All volume controls and DSP are turned off. I have been in touch with SoTM and they have not suggested anything that works yet. Anyone with a similar setup able to get Native to work. Thanks.

Can anyone help please. I want to upgrade the Ethernet port on my SMS-200 from 100m to 1G. Yes I've checked the serial number and it is definitely an early one that needs upgrading. I have 2 problems. I cannot download the image 20160810-RC1.bin, it just goes to a blank error page. I have tried Safari and google chrome. 2nd problem, imageUSB is a windows app only and I only have access to Apple machines.
