thanks guys. did the following. opened my mudic hd in finder. added a new folder and moved around 30 albums into it. still get the same error message when clicking on + to add to library. then i saw in the library window 3 lines with some itunes stuff. removed it by clicking on -. this did the trick.

Hi Stefano, on my external hd which i use for my music every album is one folder. if i create a new folder and move all my music into it will audirvana still be able to find it??

my library is full and when trying to add files I get a message saying to many synchronized folders. is there a way to add more libraries? my music collection is rather small, 150 gb

Have audirvana 2 installed on a tweaked mac mini. All my musik is in one library, dont use any playlist. From each album i delete the songs i dont like and in the past audirvana remembered the deletion. Not anymore. After a while the deleted songs popping up again, very annoying. Cant find any options to save library. Started deleting songs from hd which is a pita but audirvana cant add whats not there. Am i doing something wrong? Recently downloaded some uncompressed highres wave files. They showed up on my external hd in light grey color without the blue folder icon in front, really strange. Can play them in itunes but not in audirvana. Even when clicking on get info-open with i choose audirvana it does not work. I tunes semms the default program for wave files. Went on audirvana page. They say it can handle wav files but do not mention wave. Are these different formats or am i doing something wrong again? Thanks in advance for any comments/suggestions

Hello. I'm using avantgarde omega duos and currently drive them with a highly modded tact millenium mk3. The tact directly converts pcm to pwm. It reduces the volume by reducing the voltage beeing switched, thats why it keeps its resolution down into mili Watt levels and sound so good into my horns. The tact died on me and I'm not sure it can be fixed. Looking at other one box solutions with a sub out where i can adjust xo frequency, slope, level, delay and apply eq if needed. The devialet seems the only amp that has this functionality. My question is whether anyone has experienced devialet with very high efficiency speakers? Read a review somewhere that says the devialet needs to play at higher volume to sound good and that was using low efficiency speaker. If this is true it if would sound poor into my hornlooking forward to comments

I have a equalizer built into my amp but used it only to flatten the bass. Any eq in the mid and highs sounds bad. Yeah the speakers will go lower. Problem is the room and the placement. Too much cancellations below 50 hz.

I managed to cut some peaks at 120 and 270 hz. I recently moved to a new house and had no choice but to put my system in a tiny room, 3,5 x 3,5 meter. I have large speakers, avantgarde duo omega. Horns work surprisingly well diect in front of a wall and i get a huge sound stage. Problem is low bass. When i saw the measurement i was shocked to see the response dropped of like a stone below 50 hz. Not flexible with speaker placement. Contacted the local jl audio importer in my country for a quote for their e 110 subs

Found the culprit. Before doing the measurement i was listening to music and when attempting to measure i paused audirvana. Guess audirvana while active was blocking other apps from accessing the ap2

Hello. Downloaded rew for my mac mini und bought a usb mic UMIK-1. My mini is connected via audiophilleo to my dac.<br>in the sound settings I chose the ap2, as well as in midi settings and rew output settings. When clicking on measurement I got absolute no sound and the mic just measures the residual noise of my room, around 40 db. Is rew not compatible with usb converters like audiophilleo ?<br><br>Hope someone here is familiar and point me in the right direction.

thanks. itunes integrated mode would make things easier but sounding less good, that's way I prefer to listen to Audirvana alone
