Thank you for your response. Did you get any advantage in run your NAA in the control pc? or just a raspberry can be fine for the installations? I just thinking in: Main Roon run the Roon Server + control pc (that can run the NAA) and in the another rooms, put a raspberry as naa connecting the DAC directly. Using raspberry as NAA I will be limited on 48/96 or can use to run DSD 512 files?

Running Windows 2012 R2 Core + Professor Lasso Server (licensed) + Roon Server under AO 2.20 (B6) without any errors. All otimizations included remove remote connections and drivers for mytek. Works fine in read the administrative shares (e.g. c$, d%, ...) so insert music is a easly task. Question: Can I add in the future HQ Player in this installation? For me HQP is too complex to understand.. i just install the HQP and put as output of roon? why there is some linux solutions to perform the NAA? all the processing can stay in this Roon Server?

Dear Scott, First of all, it is a pleasure share my experience with you. I read so many blogs from you. Currently I use the native VNC server from OSx. You just activate this in Settings. Second I use the iTeleport to access the macintosh via iDevice (Iphone and Ipad). the last but not the least, I just prompt the in the safari vnc://server.local. I do not see nothing in different to access the mac using a Raspberry PI. Just some tip: put a HDMI Emulator to get more performance. Regards Ohasi

For my point of view using a Fiber Connection will not solve all your problems in isolate the equipaments that uses network connection. This occurs because always you will need to use the Ethernet X Optic Fiber converter (sometimes one in each point). This means this converter will use a ac/dc converter to push the internal components. In case of stoms and something like that this can run until your CAT5/6/7 cable going to your equipament. It makes sense right? I am just asking… not saying a true… I not a eletrical engineer… My point of view you must to use a Ethernet isolator.. like GISO, Acoustic Revive and among others. If you want (and want to spent money to use a fiber ) put converters and switches. Am I right?

Hi! Thankyou for the feedback. I know there are many persons that are using Pi as Transporter (I checked the volumio sw before). However, no ones are using as NAS? I don't know using a NFS share or something like that? I know it's only 100Mbits, but is necessary more? this will improve the sound quality? Issac

Yes! I ordered minutes ago! Maybe this could be the first order from Brazil. I really appreciate the JS-2 which I installed with several enhancements in my mac (3M sheets, disabling some mac boards (like Wifi, IR, ... ). I use iTeletransport. For me the most easly remote administration program. It costs 24 USD for iPad/iphone version but I don't have lags and there are many features to navigate in the screen. Also you can use for a Windows version too.

I prefer SS Silver Silver ... My Mac, my uptone will be glad with silver enclose. I think for PC users BB will be the basic enclose

Hi Alex. Thank you so much for the sell me the Uptone JS-2. It just wonderful, and I believe with JS-2 + MACMINI + 3M Shields we have a superior audio device. I listen so days ago a Esoteric K-03 SACD and I belieave my mac can reproduce music like no other. The difference? Some thousand dollars with the equipament and some dollars with the sacd / cd media, space to store medias, .... I added some nordosts sort kones in my mac and Uptone LPS and give more results... I will post the photos soon... ... just to know.. to make all this adjustments in my mac I took 4 hours including shield all components with 7 layers of 3M,
