Thanks for the feedback Fyper, particularly the comments on not hearing any difference between local/streamed files (good news), and your thoughts on connecting to a 'personal cloud.' By personal cloud do you mean you have files stored remotely on something like DropBox? If so, that would be a totally interesting concept.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. Will you be using the AK240's wireless function to stream from a server/NAS to your main system via PEF11? Although a rather pricey cable, I might consider that setup if others with more hi-def experience provide positive feedback. Still undergoing a steep learning curve here, so other's advice is appreciated.

Curious if you've found any additional information related to this idea. With my limited experience with high def audio, I'm considering a similar option using the AK240 to stream to a home system, but wasn't sure if it would be recommended by others with greater audio knowledge.
