@Morph The default setting is to use Auralics proprietary MQA-decoding. If you have a MQA-ready DAC you should use the setting "MQA pass-through" if you want the decoding to be handled by the DAC.

I have followed this thread with great interest. I'm currently running my Aries femto in wireless mode, connected to the dac via USB / Regen. As I understand it Aries downloads the whole file from the NAS or Tidal/Qobuz into the memory and plays it from there. How can the EN70HD have annimpact on the SQ? The file transfer must use some sort of check sum to guarantee the file integrity... Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile

My Aries (femto) works great with BMC Puredac!

I have exactly the same problem with the new Lightning Server. My feeling is that there still are some problems for Auralic to sort out in the new FW. Will use Minimserver for the time being, it works perfectly without any problems.

I started off with the pre-installed Twonky server on my very basic NAS. That didn't work so well with LDS so I installed Minimserver on my Mac. After that everything has worked perfectly!

@lupsa - Have you tried any other app: Kazoo, Lumin, etc?
