  1. I am using DVD Audio Extractor on the Tull Aqualung DVD with the remixes et al..... ARGHHHH!!! Which title is which? I clicked to download the metadata/track info but there was nothing. So... 1) Any help id'ing the titles? 2) Is there a way to make DVD AE look elsewhere for metadata? 3) Is there a better tool that DVD AE? Man this is frustrating. I want to rip the 24/96 tracks to my home server where I listen to them via Foobar through my Benchmark DAC, direct to my VTL 300 Deluxe tube amps, out via my Focal 1028Be speakers. Thanx Bruce in Philly
  2. Ok, but which Title?.... Steve Wilson Passion Play DVD, the Audio folder was empty. Note I chose only the 96-24.... The package liner notes are confusing... I think that there are two versions of stereo 96-24: 1) a "flat trasfer" from the master and 2) A Steve Wilson re-mix from the session tapes. They manifest themselves as one title that has 2 tracks side 1 & 2 of the original album, and the other broken by "tracks" which I think are the new mix from session tapes. How the heck am I supposed to differentiate any of this stuff???? Thanx Bruce in Philly
  3. Thanx Ted........ I will reload Passion Play and take a look. By the way, I posted my Tull response without refreshing my browser so I didn't see your post. Peace Bruce in Philly
  4. Another point..... an example is the new Jethro Tull discs, A Passion Play remaster by Steve Wilson... the DVD has quite a few audio tracks... if I only select the 96-24, I still see multiple titles and if I select them, I get like two complete copies of the music.... one copy is by track, the other is two tracks but both are the same total size.... very confused. 5. Thanx for you help... I am using DVD Audio Extractor to pull the high rez audio from DVDs and DVD-As. I purchased all of my discs and want them moved to my home server where I play them, via Foobar, on my high-end music system. I want ONLY THE HIGH REZ audio... for DVD A, it is 96-24, for DVDs it is 48-24 (so it appears to me) When I use the extractor, it shows me multiple titles and defaults selection to the first one. In say two of the three titles shown, the music appears repeated. Even though the extractor may show only one sample/bit format (the 96-24 I want), it appears the music is of different quality. How to I ensure I only get the highest rez, 96-24, and not the lower rez files? I have quite a stack of DVD-As and don't have the time to audition them for quality. The issues is choosing the correct title. Help here? Thanx so much. Bruce in Philly
