I am new into this and got a few questions...

6) I use Shure SE535 IEM’s with my NW-WM1A and find the combination highly engaging... It is a highly personal choice however. -
Yes. I have been using that very combo for the past few months without issue (DietPi 6.11/Allo GUI).

USBridge is now a brick after DietPi 6.10 update
wakajazz replied to John A's topic in General Forum
The one linked here: https://dietpi.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=2317 However, it sounds like an issue has been identified by Allo with the GUI update process so sounds like I may have got lucky. -
I ended up fixing the issue by using the method shown here: https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/KnKc59NZN82daHSprgow9hwk8SQYlBmRps3fD4SeIlt to successfully re-flash the eMMC to 6.9 and then upgraded to 6.10 without issue. Like you, I did not want to dismantle the USBridge.

I reported this same issue to Allo support in another thread, so to keep things in order I will add here. My USBridge is also bricked after an upgrade to DietPi 6.10 (Allo GUI). -
@Allo GUI indicated an update was required (was on 6.9) USBridge is now unresponsive, cannot view the web GUI, cannot see the USBridge in Roon. How do I get my USBridge back operational?
-
Downloaded the Allo GUI image from https://dietpi.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2317&p=8869#p8869 Version of dietpi is 6.6 Allo GUI loads up fine and that an update (to 6.9 I assume) is available. Run the update and the GUI becomes a garbled mess with update still pending. Numerous reboots and power cycles. Same. SSH'ed in and ran dietpi-update. Update is stuck at 'NTPD: Waiting for completion of systemd-timesyncd (x/60)'. Repeats 60 times then offers to retry. Fails repeatadly. I successfully updated an Allo GUI from 6.8 to 6.9 yesterday on another Pi and DigiOne and a USBridge. Is the Allo Sparky USBridge compatible with the Chord 2Qute? I have seen references to this combination not working and this site https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/allo/allo-usbridge-acrylic-audio-media-player-squeezelite-dietpi-roon-interface-for-usb-dac-p-12073.html specifically states 'This Allo USBridge is not compatible with the DAC Chord 2Qute.' I just ordered a USBridge and intend to use with a Chord 2Qute and now I see a potential issue. Thanks in advance.

I would like to see a DAC with a processor that modifies the signal to match specific turntable and cartridges 'signatures'... Much like the amp presets on a guitar effects amp.
