Good you posted this. I am a very happy owner of the Aurender X100L and have updated to IOS8 and do get the exact same error messages. I am going to write to auender since their responses have been brilliant in the past. I am wondering if the way ipad connects to the wifi router is different in ios 8 or if it is related to a security setting?
If I hear anyting I will let you know. Like you I can see the aurender in the network.
