  1. Thanks. I did try this already as described above, but will do it again and see what happens.
  2. I had this same issue (duplication of all tracks). It had never happened before, and I've never used iTunes integration, so I doubt that's the explanation. I was able to resolve it by trashing all of my library files and starting from scratch (losing my playlists in the process), but now I have a different issue: every time I start the application, I get "Error opening library file" and a dialogue box saying, "Can't file library database file at location /Users/adambrown/Library/Application Support/Audirvana Do you want to quit now and try again later or create a new blank library file?" So, I have to go through the first-time setup process each time i start the program. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

    Audirvana Plus 2.6

I now have taken the time to go through the artist names and change the sort values, but the library interface does not seem to be picking up the changes, even after syncing and restarting the program. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I actually was playing with it last night and realized you can do this fairly efficiently if you go into the "View" menu and work with the artist name interface. I did get started and it is a long and tedious process, but I guess there's no alternative. Appreciate the reply.

    Audirvana Plus 2.6

Apologies if this has already been addressed -- I looked through the thread and wasn't able to find it. in 2.6, some of my albums now seem to be sorted based on the last name of the artist rather than just the first letter of the artist name. The glaring example is Bob Dylan, which now appears among the "D" artists. This would not be a big deal to me if it were consistent, but it seems to happen only with certain artists and not others. Even worse, for some artists, certain albums are sorted that way, but not other albums. I noticed yesterday that some Joni Mitchell albums are sorted to "J," while others are sorted to "M." Finally, while appreciate that there seems to have been an effort to implement the long-requested feature of ignoring "The" in artist names, it only works with about half of my Beatles albums, so that some are now under "B," while others are still under "T." It's a serious functionality problem that I didn't have before. I'm sure this is an issue with my metadata being inconsistent somehow, but I don't know what new criterion is now being used, and I'm not really interested in going through all of the thousands of albums to check them. Does anyone know what's going on, and can anyone recommend an efficient fix?
  6. adb

    Audirvana + 2.0

I installed the new version and migrated my library, and now the program is displaying two of every album in album view. Can anyone advise on how to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help.

Love the program overall, even with the few bugs. Has anyone had issues with tags written in an external tag editor not being recognized by A+? I.e., I'd like to be able to use MusicBrainz Picard to add "Album Artist" tags to each album quickly and accurately, but I tried it out with one album and the new "Album Artist" tags don't show up in the A+ interface, even though they do appear in MusicBrainz. (They also show up in xAct when I use it to view the tags.) Is there any reason for this? Alternatively, is there a better external tag editor to use that will write tags that A+ is able to see?
