  1. And further to above question: 1) Will the firmware enable proper indexing, browsing and search functionality of a USB-HDD in the same way as if running a UPnP enabled NAS? 2) Any limitation in size/number of files?
  2. Wang, basis your above post the app version 1.4 has now been pending review in app store for a whopping two weeks whereas reported average these days seems to be 10 days. What's causing the delay? I'm sorely missing Wimp in DLS to avoid the choppy Airplay workaround.
  3. Same issue here. If i start another radio stream and then go back to the original one it usually works. No idea why. But the app is hardly bug free.
  4. In Folder View I can actually see/browse all albums, whereas in Library View still only the first folder/artist (according to the alphabet) is showing. Have also tried re-installing the app, resetting Aries, start/stop services on the NAS, booting NAS etc. etc. to no avail.
  5. @ Junk: Minimserver is not supported by ReadyNAS 102 (or vice versa?) I'm using the built in UPnP server that comes with ReadyNAS 102. Don't know what type it is. Still puzzles me why this worked flawlessly with Sonos if indeed it's the UPnP running the show behind the scenes? Edit: For fun I also tried the Lumin app and that one managed to build the library albeit not to the level/detail of Sonos. That suggests my UPnP isn't necessarily the culprit if everything else works as it should.
  6. Recently bought an Auralic Aries and have the following problem with the Lightning DS app for which I would highly appreciate any advice from you competent guys here: I'm running a NetGear ReadyNAS 102 to hold my music collection comprising a couple thousand CDs - and increasing by the day. Issue is that the the Lightning app doesn't manage to index the music share on my NAS to build a browseable and searchable music library. It only captures the very first subfolder on the NAS music share. Believe there is nothing special about the folder structure (basically organised as Artist/Album or for classical music Composer/Artist/Album). All CDs are ripped with EAC in FLAC and metadata has been very well updated and taken care of. My ReadyNas has both UNpN and ReadyDLNA sevices running. In the past I've used Sonos with absolutely no problems getting the music library working as expected. Any ideas what may be the issue? (I've obviously also contacted Auralic directly but so far no solution) Thanks
