  1. @Marcin_gps I realized just now that the MiniPlayer volume control doesn’t have any effect while the app volume control does … in the screenshot the volume is set to 0 but it doesn’t reflect into the app (running beta 1.0.18 (94) on iPad 5gen iPadOS 16.7.7)
  2. @ToTo Man it should be better to put this very technical question on Audirvana support forum at the attention of @Antoine
  3. @Fourlegs those screenshots mask the (recursive) configuration that I described … It seems just a hard technical exercise but I really doubt it can play better than the simpler one … after all, as I wrote, LMS is not playing at all, it is just: a upnp mediaserver a upnp renderer a upnp bridge to MPD that is the actual player
  4. @Fourlegs … and in your screenshot it seems you’re using LMS as UPNP renderer too (only possible with the same plugin activated ) … quite “recursive” setup: LMS (UPNP mediaserver) -> JPlay -> LMS (UPNP renderer) ->LMS UPNP bridge plugin -> MPD . … likely you have activated the UPNP/DLNA bridge LMS plugin too in order to use an external MPD/UPNP player. . It seems a very complex configuration that can be easily simplified using just Minimserver and the MPD renderer Minimserver -> JPlay -> MPD . In this complex configuration LMS is not playing at all (MPD is actually playing) … just like the much more simple configuration possible using Minimserver only. I’m wondering which could be the benefit using such a configuration
  5. That’s possible only with UPNP mediaserver plugin activated on LMS … check which plugins are active in you LMS … should be this one
  6. Unfortunately Minimserver doesn’t play … it is just a upnp media server, how can you say that Minimserver does or doesn’t sound better? Then the actual player was in MPD in the microRendu, so likely the issue was in microRendu MPD … in order to use JPlay with LMS you must have activated the UPNP server plugin in LMS, therefore you’re back to a UPNP setup. . Which is the actual player you’re using? I your dac directly connected to your NAS? Long time Minimserver and LMS user here and I find Minimserver rock solid (more than 15 years on Minimserver managing a 8TB library without a single issue) while recently LMS (since 8.4.0) has some critical bugs … it was fine up to 8.3.1. .
  7. For this you can ask Simon (Minimserver developer) on his support forum, I’m quite sure he will find/suggest a solution
  8. I’m running LMS 8.3.1 and HQPe 5.5.0 and it works fine …
  9. @dericchan1 try eventually to restart HQPlayer and then close (swipe off) JPlay and relaunch it
  10. Very strange …. In this example I’m playing right now a DSD64 from Minimserver and HQPlayer receive a DSD64 file that upsample to DSD512
  11. Actually if you select PCM in Output mode HQPlayer will convert everything to PCM this is my HQPlayer embedded configuration that works fine with dsd from Minimserver
  12. Can you post the screenshot of your HQPlayer configuration? There must be something wrong …
  13. Minimserver doesn’t do any conversion (unless you explicitly configure MinimStreamer to do it), the conversion can depend only on the player/dac you’re using … which one is the one that convert DSD to PCM?
  14. Using Minimserver it doesn’t matter the folder structure (ie genre folder or something else), Minimserver reads the tags inside the tracks and depending on how you configured the indexTag property it will show the related indexes, in other words any tag in indexTag will be shown as index. This happens with any upnp control app like JPlay or Lumïn or Linn. If some albums/tracks don’t show up in your library there are likely some errors that you can analyze in Minimserver log. Using the [folder view] index you’ll be able to browse the library according to the folders structure. You can reach it from JPlay menu entry By Folder/Minimserver. Which tag editor are you using? Yate/2manyrobots (macOS only) is the one I use and it is very effective, on Windows MP3Tag is a good tag editor.
