  1. Interesting. The improvements you describe also exactly describe the improvements one gets when bi-amping (not bi-wiring) the 3.3 and 3.6. I am hesitating to sell my 3.6 without knowing if I will get the same qualities with the 3.7. I have yet to see feedback from someone who went from bi-amped 3.6 to mono-amped 3.7. With a passive crossover which is after the amp, one looses the direct connection between the amp and the driver. In contrast there is a synergy between the amp and the drivers when the crossovers are done before the amps with active electronics, enabling that coveted direct amp to transducer connection. I also have Linkwitz Orions, planning to build LX521 and LXmini, and owned two pairs of 3.3, 1.6 and 2.5s. Guy
