  1. 1). Lampizator Atlantic DAC (basic). 2). Trenner and Friedl Art loudspeakers
  2. This is happening to me as well. Except now power cycle isn't fixing the problem. I'll try it a few more times. Never used USB input.
  3. Geardaddy, Garbled sound may be your DAC. I had the same problem with my Antelope Silver, then I changed from USB to SPDIF. All is well. Or, even your ipad (still get garbled sound on Aries & Apple TV from ipad). Iphone and imac work well.
  4. You're right: it was a DAC problem. My Antelope Silver, for some reason, doesn't like Airplay on USB. But the SPDIF input worked fine. Live and learn.
  5. Thanks Cebolla, It was a smart try, but no dice. I will be disappointed if Tidal won't work on it.
  6. I'm trying to use Airplay to stream Tidal, but the Aries only gives white noise. My DAC engages, gives a signal, but only static. I can stream nicely over Apply TV. Any ideas? Thanks.
  7. I checked as well. I get 24 bit when I'm supposed to.
  8. Thank you for all of your help. I wanted to get my music up as soon as I could, so I went ahead and installed the Synology Media Server, which seems to work on the Lightning app ok. Maybe I'll try the installation of Minimserver when I have some more time. But again, deepest thanks.
  9. I have the $999 model, and I love it. The music sounds some much more present than my previous Macbook Pro Audirvana setup. I haven't heard the more expensive model. But I am very impressed/enthused about the LE. I would say a 30-40% improvement (that's maybe a little high) over the Macbook.
