Thanks for the welcome and the suggestions. I'm in the US. At least with Linn I get a clear indication as to whether a particular item is available to US customers. With theclassicalshop and eclassical.com I end up with obscure problems while trying to pay, and can't tell whether their payment processing pipelines are just chronically broken, or something more specific is wrong. Your point about shops run by the labels is well taken, and actually I've found the experience of buying from Linn (for their own and other labels they can sell to the US) and Hyperion very smooth. I've had a lot of success with HDTracks too, and their label selection is quite eclectic, but like other independent vendors their selection from any one of these specialty labels is patchy.

Browsing at theclassicalshop.net I notice that they have an unusually wide range of hi-res downloads by certain labels such as Chandos, Alpha, Chaconne, Genuin and Bis. The trouble is, the bugs in their web site (both when looking for stuff and trying to pay) are driving me nuts. Most of the usual suspects carry a few recordings by each label, but has anybody found another vendor that carries a wide range from any of them? Thanks!
