The Momentums would be a great choice! The cups are a bit smaller than the HD212s so they won't go fully around the ear, but the sound and design is superb - perfect for what you need them for.

Have you seen the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pros? Not only do they sound great, but they look it too

Was there a reason you didn't want to go for the HDVD800? That would be your amp and DAC and you could also use the CH800 S balanced cable too!

The Beyerdynamic DT770's are a great choice! One of the best 'value for money' closed back headphones out there. If you're going for the 250 ohm version then just make sure the headphone amp can power them - the Marantz or Cambridge mentioned should do the trick
