    I have a pair of SP 1/2 originals. I refuse to get rid of them although they are not in my current system. They do love tubes, though. Right now I am using a pair of Harbeth HL5 because I wanted a bit bigger sound.

    Hi Jesus! I have my VortexBox connected to a PS Audio DirectStream DAC via USB. Under this configuration, I used to be able to play .dsf files as DoP. I updated by software and now all .dsf files are sent as PCM. Are there special settings that have to be made to SqueezeLite to get it to play DSD or something that needs to be changed to ALSA? I'm planning to get a MicroRendu so I can get off the VortexBox as streamer, but as you know they arent' in stock. Michael

    I had the good fortune of ordering one of Astig's PS3 units before seeing this message. I am very impressed. Even the packaging he uses to ship these units is designed for the PS3!
