Hello Audiophiles!
I recently purchased a pair of powered jbl lsr305's for my copmuter and am absolutely loving them. Problem is, I live in a 1 BR apt with my wife and I can't always listen to them. So, I'm looking to get a nice pair of headphones (<$200) or possibly earbuds (because I don't really like wearing headhphones, especially at work) and a dac that will allow me to adjust the volume of the speakers (but not amplify them) and amp the headphone.
So, what I'm looking for is advice on headphones/earbuds, and dac that will support both my speakers and my headphones my needs all for less than $300 dollars.
In addition to this, the DAC has to be semi attractive because it will be on my desktop. A remote would absolutely be amazing, but I'm guessing thats not even an option on an affordable dac.
