Firedog, did you get the 2013 platinum SHM-CD or the 2013 standard SHM-CD? I just purchased the 2013 standard SHM-CD, it was cheaper than the platinum but released on the same day and sourced from the same master, both are 16/44.1 so I can't imagine there being much difference in sound quality. You can get hi-res Kind of Blue at HDtracks, stereo or mono version. I have the 24/192 stereo version, I think you'd be hard pressed to find better, the quality is amazing!
