Hi Everyone
I've slowly been building up my audio system and I an trying to figure out the final touches. My two sources of music are vinyl and lossless files from a 4 TB hard drive going through a Rouge Audio Sphinx amplifier and BiFrost DAC. I have bought a used apple laptop to use as an interface only. I am having issues with iTunes continually crashing, sometimes it will last hours, other times I will have to restart every 10-20 minutes. I have tried many different methods recommended on other forums to fix this to no avail. I have come to the conclusion that the laptop is probably just too far out of date (2007) to handle the newer iTunes properly.
I have decided to bite the bullet and get a new Mac Mini to use as an interface. I would like to use a touchscreen monitor mounted above my audio system for easy access and to have musical visual experience as well. I would have no actual music files on the mac hard drive they would all be on the external hard drive. Now to my question!
Has anyone used a touchscreen with the mac mini before? Is it a feasible endeavor?
Any recommendations or insight would be appreciated.
